110 days. This seed was resurrected from a Anpetu Oihankesni's collection, from seed that was nearly 20 years old! The fruits are large, butternut-type squashes with savory, mild flavor. I have spent much time traveling in this incredibly rich part of the world, on the old silk road. The Uighur culture is currently being threatened by cultural cleansing by the Chinese governement who want all Uighurs to assimilate into the bigger "one China" policy. Their language, food, seeds and way of life are threatened with extinction. We will continue to preserve this threatened seed in solidarity with the Uighur people.
